You may be wondering which style best suits your home. There are three very popular styles that we build: P-shaped, gable-ended, or lean-to.
The P-shaped is popular if you’re looking for a large space that can be divided into distinct areas, like a playroom and dining room.
Gable-ended conservatories provide a lot of roof space for an attractive and classical aesthetic, with plenty of space for furniture because of its square shape.
The lean-to is an immensely popular style because it can fit almost any property type.
However, these are just a few of our styles throughout the West Midlands. Make sure that you speak with us for more information about different styles.
I can totally recommend this company for windows and doors. Polite and tidy workers and excellent quality products.
Worcester Glazing recently replaced a window and fitted a glass frame on my front cellar entrance. Have to say from start to finish all was done most efficiently. Staff were most pleasant.
Worcester Glazing are a company that care and go above and beyond the call of duty. We recently had our builders walk out on our build following liquidation, leaving us with an unsecured home. Worcester Glazing came to the rescue and fitted doors they didn’t even supply. They saw the mess we were in and they asked for nothing in return for their labour!
Installed bifolds (including removing some brick work) and a new front door. Took all the rubbish away with them and cleaned up once they finished. Very impressed with the service I received. Very competitive price. Attention to detail was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!
Worcester Glazing did new windows for our entire house in November and they were fantastic from start to finish. Completely professional from sales, to customer service. We couldn’t have been happier with the fitters (Mark & Jase) who were a pleasure to have do the job. Really friendly and the work was done to the highest of standards, Thanks guys!
What is a gable-end conservatory?
A gable-end is a square shaped conservatory with a ‘gable’ or ‘V’ shaped roof. This gable roof only has two sides rather than four sides. They occasionally are built with a triangular transom window.
Do I need planning permission to build a conservatory?
No! With some exceptions, planning permission is unnecessary when building a conservatory and it is well within permitted development guidelines. You might need planning permission if the build is within two metres of the property guidelines or over half the width of the ‘original house’. If you have questions about your next build, you can always contact our team for more information.
Where else do you work?
In addition to our work in Worcestershire, we also work in Herefordshire and Warwickshire. Contact us to find out if we install in your area.
What is a lean-to conservatory?
Lean-tos are typically square or rectangular, with a one sided roof that meets the building’s façade. There is a single slope to the roof, and they can be built even on terraced housing.
